02 The recipe

## How it is done, step by step.

1. Upload the batch

 Up to ten PDFs per batch, in text extraction. Scanned invoices are read by character recognition.

2. Describe the table you want

 Columns, units, totals. "Supplier, number, date, amount before tax, taxes, total."

3. Validate on screen

 Fix a line if needed. This is the moment where a person matters.

4. Generate the Excel file

 The code interpreter produces the file from the validated table.

Support tip

- Validate the table before asking for the file: in the other order, generation breaks.
- For data, text extraction wins; file search splits Excel files and gives poor results.
- A client city calls the result "magic". We prefer "verified".

### Does Munia connect to the accounting software?

Not by default. It works from the documents you upload and produces tables and texts. A connection to your financial system is built on request, with our team.

### Are the amounts reliable?

They are extracted from the PDF, then displayed for validation. Checking is faster than retyping, and it is required before generating the file.

### What about invoice confidentiality?

Hosted in Canada, never used to train models, inference under zero-retention contracts. Law 25 compliant.
