WHEREAS the Municipality issued a public call for tenders for snow removal on municipal streets, published on SEAO on July 15, 2026;

WHEREAS three bids were received and publicly opened on August 20, 2026;

WHEREAS the bid from Exampleville Snow Removal Inc., in the amount of $84,500 taxes included per season, is the lowest compliant bid;

WHEREAS the recommendation of the Director of Public Works;

IT IS MOVED BY Councillor Marie Tremblay, SECONDED BY Councillor Jean Gagnon, AND UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCILLORS PRESENT:

TO AWARD the snow removal contract for municipal streets to Exampleville Snow Removal Inc. for the 2026-2027 and 2027-2028 seasons, in the amount of $84,500 taxes included per season, in accordance with its bid of August 20, 2026;

TO AUTHORIZE the Director General and Clerk-Treasurer to sign, for and on behalf of the Municipality, any document required to give effect to this resolution.

Water main work on Érables Street: partial closure from May 3 to July 15

The Municipality of Exampleville will replace the water main on Érables Street, between 1st and 3rd Avenue, starting May 3. Traffic will be reduced to one alternating lane and on-street parking will be prohibited in the work zone.

"This pipe is over 60 years old and caused four breaks in two years. We are replacing it now, at the same time as the roadway, so we do not have to reopen the street twice," explains Mayor Hélène Côté.
